About Chewbacca

Chewy is a sweet little guy. I took him in from a family member who had kept him in a cage for 4 1/2 yrs in a room with dozens of cats and a pot belly pig. He was never house trained and is still working on this. Uses a dog door but still marks. Doesn't mind a belly band and loves to play dress up. He is a cuddler and wants to have all the human attention. He is now with 4 other dogs and can get very jealous and will show his displeasure my marking. So please beware. He has come very far from the scared dog I took in. When I got him he only ate cat food and had sever skin issues and little hair. This cleared completely on a dog food diet with salmon oil added to his food. He recently had his first visit to a groomer and did great. He loves company to come over and just jumps right in the first lap available. He is a great traveler and good on a leash. He needs lots of one on one time, that I unfortunately do not have. He does a 'chewbacca' noise when he is stressed and is a drama queen. He is microchipped as well.
