About Truffles

There are NO exceptions. *approximately 13 week old female Great Dane puppy *Giant breed experience and physically fenced yard preferred *No kids under 8 yrs old unless they've lived with a giant breed recently. She's going to be using her sharp teeth on everything including your small human because she's a puppy. *Due to her not being fully vaccinated (per his age), apartments, townhomes, and property with community dog walking areas will NOT be considered due to risk of illness. Only adopters with private yards will be considered. Prepare to be disarmed by the sweetest, most beautiful Great Dane you have ever seen! Your heart will grow 3 sizes when she walks up and sits before you, asking to be scooped up for a nap in your lap. This girl is the perfect balance of affectionate, confident, and playful. As appropriate for her breed (and age), her puppy legs are charmingly gigantic for her body and seem to be the only things growing on it! During extra rowdy play sessions, she can simply forget to use them and they'll fold under her like a pile of laundry. Is that a Shetland pony with sneakers on running through your kitchen? No! It's Truffles�'�|heading inbound for her meal! Crate training is going GREAT and she has her nighttime routine down cold after just 2 weeks. She goes in with zero fuss and no crying when shutting the door and saying goodnight. She sleeps through the night and even mostly holds potty until morning. This tiny Sharknado is still all things puppy-biting anything in her path as this is how she experiences the world right now. Her adopter will need to brush up on puppy lingo (mouthy='I'm tired' or 'I want to interact with you') and teach her how to re-direct and focus her energy with love and patience. She's a trashcan liner thief, sock thief, and sandal thief, but her greatest capture of all will be your heart!! Truffles is UTD on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. You'll be required to provide the rest of the series of vaccines as they grow. She is currently in a foster home in the Charlotte NC area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up. Out of respect for our foster family's time and privacy, we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an approved application on file.
