About Belle

Hello, my name is Belle! I am currently living in a kennel with my bestie Penny, the lab mix! Penny and I have lived together for 5 or 6 years. Our owner owned a kennel and adopted me and then later on Penny came along after her original owner abandoned her at the kennel. Our owner passed away last year and the new kennel owner has taken very good care of us but she already has pups of her own plus chickens...we don't like small fast moving outside animals like squirrels, rabbits, and chickens! We will chase them and do the unmentionable! That being said, she cannot take us home but doesn't want us to have to live the rest of our days in a kennel and feels that we would make amazing and loyal pets to the right people! I don't have to go to the same home as Penny, we just need a good place with good people! My personality is confident and purposeful, I will let the hound in me speak about what I need, want, and believe is happening! I can't help but to let the hound in me out however I do know how to quiet down when I'm told my least favorite words 'Belle, you're too loud, too loud' my daddy used to tell me that and I still get to hear it every morning as I'm going out to potty, I never potty in the house! I'm very loving and kind, I love treats and snuggles! I'm not sure about young people, I haven't been around them. If you're looking for an 8 year old hound/lab mix I'm your girl!
