About Carrots

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

We adopted Carrots from a country pound 4 years ago. The pound that we got her from was terrible and she was completely loaded with ticks. I thought she was done growing at 30 lbs but turns out she was just a puppy. I thought she'd be great for my kids but my kids were just scared of her. Not because she's scary. She's absolutely precious and completely tame. My youngest boy who has recently turned 3 years old used to roll around with her on the ground and play with her. Even when he was 1 and 2 years old, she was great with him. He doesn't play with her much anymore and I think she's too great a dog and just needs a better home. Because my other boys were skittish around all animals, I've had to keep her on a tether in the back yard and she deserves better. She's a great dog and would be a great family dog.
