About Kiwi

Help us welcome Kiwi, a 10 year old, 12 lb Shih Tzu boy. This sweet gentleman is a low key guy who needs a little while to warm up to new people and new places but once he does he likes to be picked up and cuddled and will wag his tail. ���S Kiwi is blind in one eye and may have limited vision in the other but he maps out his surroundings quickly and has managed to find all the good places in the house to sleep ���� and he sure can smell food and treats as he loves to eat! He takes daily drops for dry eye like a champ too. Kiwi does fine with other dogs and welcomes their company- he sniffs but does not engage them. We also think he would probably ignore cats. His favorite toy is a treat-dispensing one lol. Meal times are the highlight of his day and after clearing his bowl, he will seek out his foster siblings' bowls to see if he can help clean them up too. ���� Kiwi is easy going for bath time and sleeps all night - sometimes with a little snoring. This senior boy is super sweet, low maintenance and just wants to be loved.
