About Nala

Nala is the most amazing, resilient dog we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was abandoned at the shelter pure skin and bones, and her previous owner charged with cruelty for it. Despite that, Nala never cowered from anyone, never growled, never showed anything but pure love to everyone she met. And she was going to be euthanized at the shelter after everything she went through. SSR wasn't going to allow that to happen, and saved her the day of her scheduled execution. Volunteers and staff alike applauded as she trotted out of the shelter, tail wagging joyously. More than any dog we've rescued, Nala deserves her happily ever after.
