About Gabby

Gabby has been with us since January. She was very fearful when she arrived & took some time & work to earn her trust. She's bonded with several volunteers, but is still cautious of new people. We'd like to find her a home with experience in the breed as well as someone willing to continue to work with her. She walks great on the leash, is comfortable walking in various locations with people around as long as they don't approach her to pet her. She is very receptive to training & needs gentle positive training methods. She's a velcro dog once she knows you & wants to be on you & with you as much as possible. She tolerates most other dogs, but would be best as an only dog as she's a bit of a queen bee & wants to be in control. A calm predictable adult home is best. She's not really in need of a lot of activity, but loves walks & hikes & just being with her person.
