About Bonnie

Don't tell the other pups, but 5-yr-old Bonnie is a volunteer and staff favorite! She adores children, is house trained, and is ready to cuddle her entire 63 pound body with you on the couch every night. Bonnie would do best in a home without other dogs. She's good with other dogs outside after a proper slow intro, however she told us that she just prefers to get 100% of the attention at home and we totally get it! When she was first rescued, she didn't really understand toys or fetch. However, after some time in a wonderful foster home, she slowly started to love playing with her toys in her bed and playing some fetch in the hallway with her little pink tennis ball...only when she feels like it though. That's one thing we love about her - she'll let you know when she wants to play. If she's laying in bed and you want her to play fetch, she's like 'no way I'm chillin!' It is adorbs! Bonnie is also the perfect mix of rest and play. She'll go on a nice, long walk or hike with you no problem and then she'll sleep next to you all day until you're ready to go out again. Seriously, don't miss out on this well-behaved, loving, amazing girl! She's a gem.
