About Hayden

Hi! My name is Hayden! I'm a young pup and only about a year old. My rescuers think I am a boxer mix and they call me 'cute'.. whatever that means! I was adopted from the shelter but then something terrible happened! My new owner and I got hit by a car while crossing the street! I lost one of my front legs in the accident but thankfully we both lived. My owner turned me back into the shelter because they couldn't afford my vet care. Thankfully though, I was rescued just in time because I was once again, put on the dreaded kill list. Things are looking up for me and I'm excited for my future again! I am looking for a family to call my own. I love to play and run and losing my leg doesn't slow me down one bit! I think my ideal match would be where I could be the only dog because I like being center of attention but I might be able to share with the right dog! I'm a little sensitive to my injury still as its still healing so its best if I'm handled gently and because of that, I should probably go to a home without small children.
