About Mr. Darcy

Mr. Darcy is a sweet natured, senior, mini schnauzer who has some special needs that never got the training or love he needed when growing up. I rescued him around a year ago from a home of 6 dogs. He was not house broken, had no basic training, he was very food aggressive and dog aggressive towards others dogs. None of this was disclosed to me at the time I got him. After a long road of sweat, tears, love and training, Mr. Darcy has come a long way in so many ways. He does still need quite a bit of special attention and training in order to stay on his path. However, my living situation has changed and I am no longer able to provide him the constant special atmosphere that he thrives in. He needs a family without another dog, a fenced in yard, kids may be okay depending on the age, and a family who is home to give him the attention he needs. I would love to talk with you more if you meet this criteria and love high maintenance senior dogs. I want to be transparent with what he needs because people were not honest with me and he would be an absolute joy for someone who has the time for him.
