About Judy

Hi, I'm Judy. I'm also known as the mama to the Friends litter. Some of my pups have found their furever families, and some are still waiting, just like me. I'm super sweet and playful and love giving kisses to the hoomans. When I was rescued a few months ago, I was pregnant and heartworm positive. I delivered 10 babies and cared for them until they were strong enough to live life independently. Then I took a little field trip to have a spay surgery to ensure I didn't go through that incredible amount of work and stress again. The rescue sent me on another field trip recently to treat and get rid of the awful heartworms. I have a few weeks remaining on crate rest, but I do it with ease. I have lots of strong chew toys and I like to nap anyway, so I sleep most of the hours away. Throughout the remainder of my treatment, I'll be dreaming and wishing for a home and family of my own. There are many other dogs, cats, and hoomans in my foster home, so I'm willing to live with pretty much anyone who will love me and tell me what a sweet girl I am every day. I'm spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. I'm about 2.5 years, weigh around 50 pounds, and they say I'm labeled a bully mix, but I'm really a southern belle. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
