About Jody

Adoption Fee: $375
Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Jody! I'm a male, mixed breed born on 2/14/23. I currently weigh about 14lbs.and I am growing every day. I have the most beautiful brindle coat and am soft as can be. I had a 'ruff' start an was abandoned and found wandering the streets. I currently live with kids, my 2 siblings, and a big dog. I get along great with everyone! I will do my business outside if you take me and keep me on a schedule. I love being in a house and getting food everyday, it's SO MUCH better than begging on the street. I eat well, nap hard, play hard, and love to run around and wag my tail at anyone who will give me attention. Getting love is one of my favorite things! I'm learning about wearing a leash and collar and am starting to understand that when I have these on, adventures await! I'm an adorable pup looking for my forever home! If you would like to meet me, please email [email protected] for an application, I'd love to meet you! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 14 days of a veterinarian deeming the dog or puppy is ready to be altered. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant (adopter) for any reason.
