Meet Joe Joe, a precious 2 year old,9 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in McKinney, TX. Only TX applicants will be considered. Update 5/9/23: Hey there everyone, It has been a while since I've written anything about myself so here is what has been going on. I moved to McKinney, Texas and have new foster pawrents and their dogs as buddies. Foster Mom has been checking me out so she gets to know me better but I can tell you some things about me. I am about 2 years old, a yorkie blend and I have really long legs and my hair is kinda curly and rough. I was a breeder dump and UYR rescued me and my girlfriend the day we got dumped at a kill shelter or we would have been euthanized if they didnt come save us. I'm so happy they saved us because GiGi is pregnant and I want to see my offspring! Since my rescue on April 1, 2023 I have been microchipped, had all my immunizations, tested negative for heartworms, am on heartworm and flea/tick preventative and I tested negative for parasites. I also got neutered so no more making more puppies for me. I weighed in at 10 pounds May 6th but probably could still gain another pound or two because FM says I still feel a little bony. I am not 100% house trained but am pretty close. Sometimes I go to the door but that is because GiGi is there. So I wear those fashion statement things called belly bands. Sometimes they are wet but lately more often dry than wet because I go outside pretty often. I recently got groomed and the groomer said I was a good boy. FM is going to give me a bath this week so we will see how I act about that. I am a little lover boy and just love to shower you with kisses but I also love my girlfriend and I am usually by her side especially when we nap and go to sleep at night. I love toys and if you let me I will move a lot of them to one certain location. FM has not figured out that I want her to move the toy box to the spot where I want it because it will be in the way of everyone. She keeps moving them back to the toy box and I keep moving them to my spot. I call it the war of the toys game. FM wants me to tell you that because I was a breeder boy and that I am in love with GiGi that we might need to be adopted together. This status might change but we are not sure yet. I will also need my future prospective adopter to please be someone who is home all the time, well except to do the errands like going to the pet store to get me some nutritious food, treats and toys! I promise to reward my future hoomans with my undying love furever. Did you know that we are amazing babies to own as I just want to show you how much I appreciate you giving me my furever home and your furever love. I already show FM how much I love her everyday as I become more comfortable in my new foster home. I will soon tell her exactly what I want in my furever home and hoomans but I do know this,,,I need a back yard to run in and sun in and I like to explore because all of this new life I am learning is such a wonderful thing to experience and explore. I love nice comfy dog beds or people beds are nice and soft too. Foster Mom is accepting applications at this time but it is unclear when I will begin my serious search for my future home as it is still undecided if I will need to be adopted with GiGi after she has her babies.
