About Pinato

Pinto is one of a litter of puppies born to a very pregnant Australian Cattle Dog that took refuge at a ranch in the country. She was actively giving birth to the puppies on the day we took her in. The mother is a full-blooded Australian Cattle Dog, and we have a consensus that the father was probably a Great Pyrenees. Pinto is now over 4 months of age and weighs around 40 pounds. Pinto and his siblings are all very sweet and gentle pups. Pinto loves toys and treats, and wrestling with his siblings. Pinto is a bit shy. He is still very young and will need obedience training, house training, and socialization. Pinto has never been around cats but would probably get along with them if properly introduced. Pinto is a very sweet, gentle little boy that must be protected from rough treatment by children and big dogs that might hurt her. Pinto must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and it would be best if he had a secure, fenced yard to explore and play. Pinto is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, (DAPPvL2, Bordetella, Rabies), and microchipped. He has been started on, and is receiving monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Pinto's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to the northeast or other states. He is being fostered in Texas and we cannot afford to send him north until after he is adopted.
