About Banjo

Red Heeler, Male, located in Louisa, VA. Hi y'all! I just wanted to introduce myself and my dog Banjo as my family is looking to rehome him. This is Banjo. He is an 13 month old male, rabies vaccinated, not neutered. We've had Banjo for about 3 months now. He has been great (gentle) with our 2 1/2 year old son. And more rambunctious with my wife and I. Banjo seems to do best after playing with our neighbor's 2 dogs (a male and female Lab and a Blue Heeler). Our issue began with him getting triggered with the water hose which my son loves and would keep on all the time if he could) he tries to bite the hose and tripped up our son. And here lately he has been growling at my wife and nipping at her when she tries to put the leash on him. He doesn't do this with me. Banjo allows me to take him out for a potty or walk. I work 10 hour days and can't be home to take him outside all the time. I do believe Banjo would be great for someone who has the time for focused training and possibly has another dog around. Banjo is crate trained and that has been his place to 'reset' as needed. He is potty trained and understands simple commands (though he is sometimes reluctant to follow them and needs reminded. Banjo is very food motivated and we have been using regular kibble for training. We need to rehome Banjo soon. Message me for more info. I am asking for a rehoming fee of 150.00.
