About Captain

Active Senior seeking someone to adore. Captain came to the shelter as a stray with some boo boos. Still this amazing boy was always smiling. He was a shelter favorite but he already had 2 strikes against him. Captain is a senior and he is a bully breed mix. Captain is 8 ish years old, neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. Captain is in an amazing foster home where we are learning so much about him. Captain does get along with other dogs but would be best as a only dog in the home because he wants all the attention. Even though he is older Captain isn't a couch potato. He needs an active home with boundaries. Captain is strong and we recommend him with children over 12. Captain walks well on a leash, likes to play, knows the sit command, rides nice in a car, is crate trained and takes treats nicely. You can't buy love but you can rescue it.
