About Astro

Someone dropped a puppy off in the country in Livingston, TX about a month ago, I found him in a rainstorm. We have named him Astro, he is a very sweet, weighs 28 lbs currently and approximately 4 months old according to the vet. Its possible he's a collie/boxer mix he is red with a black and white muzzle and white belly and paws, fur is medium short - I have given him a DNA test to get a more accurate breed mix and am awaiting results. We have gotten his shots current, he is de-wormed and de-flead. We are not in a position to keep him as we just rescued our own 7 month old puppy, a hunting dog mix and have our hands full with her and are moving from the area soon. Astro is kennel trained and doesn't show signs of separation anxiety. He plays well with our other puppy. When he greets you he wiggles his whole body it's so cute and his fur makes him cuddly like a teddy bear! He has learned to sit and wait and we are working on potty training. He eats from a puzzle bowl cause he is kind of a fast eater. I will pay for neutering and chipping and 6 months of food. He comes with a kennel, dog bed, bowls, leash. We just really want him to find this forever home with a loving person or family. Please if you know of someone who can adopt him in Texas or another state (I can pay for transport or I will transport him myself) or if you know of an organization that can take him and get him adopted. Or someone else who can foster him? Of if you can post him on your social media to get the word out I would be so grateful!
