About Fiona

Let's find Fiona a home! Fiona moved to a new foster home a several months ago and is doing great! Now she needs to find her very own forever family. This sweet girl is a pointer mix, about 4 years old, who came to us a long time ago from a large hoarding situation. She is shy with new people and probably always will be ... but she's come SO far! These days she's not as scared as she was of new people, places and things. She loves loves loves other dogs and playing with her foster family's two dogs. We want to see her in a home with at least one other dog of similar size. She's happiest when she has a canine companion. She loves running around and playing in their fenced yard. Fiona is still scared of the leash, so a fenced yard will be needed for her. She needs a family who will give her a chance to discover that they're friends. She shows no aggression at all with new people - she's just a timid soul with them. With some time and patience ... and treats, which help a LOT in speeding up the process! ... she will be a wonderful, loving addition to your family.
