About Dex

Please note: fosters and adopters must live in Connecticut. Dex is looking for a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt - or forever - home. He came to us with another dog - Victory - but we have discovered that although they love each other, they don't need to be together - they are not bonded. He likes other dogs and would be fine living with slightly older children - 10 years old or older. He's an enthusiastic guy and could knock over little ones without meaning to. We do not know how he would be with cats . Dex has seen the vet and is up to date with all vaccines and tests. He has tested negative for heartworm, tick-borne illnesses, and parasites. He is already neutered. He is a black lab mix about 5 years old, Dex has your typical lab happy-go-lucky, enthusiastic personality. He is happy, loving dog and will fit into a home easily.
