Do not ask via email if the animal is available. Please call the shelter for the most up-to-date information about this dog. Meet Herkimer Herkimer is a ~6 year old male who weighs ~49 lbs. This sweet hunk loves attention, people, butt scratches, and treats! He came to us as a stray, so his past is unknown and is ready rewrite his future. He still has some energy for being a middle-aged man, but he wouldn't mind snuggling up on the couch. He's met other dogs here and he would prefer a home with only female dogs. We are unsure of his history on cats and kids, but he would probably prefer older kids who understand boundaries. He is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on parasite preventatives.
