HI. MY NAME IS PUDGE In only 2 years of life, I sure have been around the block a few times through no fault of my own. First, I was seized by Animal Control from owners that made me live in awful conditions. Then I was adopted by a wonderful family but after many months the other dogs in the house began to have disagreements with me and the owners surrendered me to the Shelter after a pretty bloody battle which I lost. Not long after that, I was attacked by another dog while heading to the play yards. I have some issues with trust now but bond well with people who have the patience to work with me (but not coddle me) and expose me to new things in the big world out there. I love learning new things. I also love affection. Please Note: The Shelter is closed until May 12th; however, we can accept applications for dogs immediately and that will save time. The application process is free, and while we ask for the name of the dog you are considering, that can be changed once you visit us and see the available dogs.
