About Gunnar

Gunnar is a 1.5 year old Chocolate Lab mix. He is a good boy and a great companion dog with tons of love. However, he needs to be the only dog in his home as there are some behavioral issues when he gets around other dogs. My fianc�� and I feel that he could thrive in a different situation from ours and want to allow him the opportunity. He loves to play tug, fetch, is VERY affectionate and is high energy with tons of love and excitement. He does have issues at times with leash reactivity and in large groups or hectic situations. We adopted Gunnar around 9 months ago with intentions of keeping him forever, however we have since noticed our home with plenty of loud and frequent visitors, living in an apartment complex, and having another somewhat reactive older dog has not been a good fit for him, and is not fair for him.
