About Mac

LOCATION: Kirkland, Washington DOB: 05/01/2022 (Estimate) Big Mac. Macanoodle. Sweet Boy Mac. Changing his name won't do one thing to change this beautiful Dane/Mastiff mix's gentle personality. He is just the sweetest lover-boy you will ever meet. Mac is a big ol baby in a big boy's body. He has the Velcro Dane gene for sure and he is also a bit shy. When friends or family come over, he will look to his people to make sure all is alright. And he is scared of his own shadow (but doesn't want anyone to know that). If you raise your voice to him, he's high-tailing it to his crate which is his safe space. He does stay in his kennel when his people are not home. He loves to go on adventures. Car rides are super fun for him and the vet's office was easy-breezy. He even went camping where he got to go swimming. He is not great on the leash but is manageable. Mr. Mac does well with other dogs as long as introductions are slow and controlled. He can get snippy if another dog gets too close to his treats or bones so those are given to him inside his cage. He hasn't been around cats, although he does find joy in chasing after birds and rabbits in the yard so most likely a no-cat home for him. Kids are sort of a new concept for him. He doesn't really know his size so a home with older, dog-savvy children would be ideal. This gorgeous boy does not counter surf and has never chewed up one thing in the house. He will even sit like a stone with a steak 3 inches from his nose until he is given the green light. His word for Stay is 'Wait'. Mac will do great in a home where he can be just royally loved on. He is adaptable and can go from chilling at home to exploring the woods.
