About Dexter

Meet Dexter our 8 year old brindle Boxer mix available for adoption at Friends of Upland Animal Shelter. Dexter has completed our basic obedience training and is a staff favorite. He would enjoy learning even more skills through continuing education. He loves belly rubs, giving kisses, and being around people. This gentle giant is ready for his forever home. Because he is a senior dog, he often gets overlooked; and, he has been with us for far too long. His ideal home would be an active home where he can get regular exercise and be the center of attention. He would prefer to be the only dog, but might be okay with a calm, smaller dog. Because he is a large dog, a home with older children would be best. Dexter has been with us for far too long.
