About Xeena (Zeena)

Hi everyone, I'm looking to rehome my dog Xeena (Zeena). She's a beaglepit- great with kids, friendly once she get to know you and loyal. Her story: the first 1-2 years of her life she was abused and was rescued by her previous owner. I was Xeena's dog sitter at first and i took her in when her owner couldn't take her after moving in with family since they already a dog and she couldn't get along with them. She doesn't really get along with other pets/animals. I was told she doesn't really like men since she might've been abused by one. Fortunately, she has actually been doing great with the men I introduced her to. We introduce her to everybody by pretending she's not there and sitting on the couch and letting her sniff you first and we haven't had a problem with her being aggressive. We called some sanctuaries and animal shelters where they have told us she would get euthanized since she does lunge at men if not properly introduced. She's never bitten anyone. I don't think it is fair for her to end her life short just because no one wants to give her a chance or the patience to be introduced properly. She's about 7 years old. We really just want her to have a stable home. I've been fostering her for a couple of months now but I can't keep her since she doesn't get along with my cat and we are moving to smaller place. She is crate trained and comes with a crate, bed, bowls, toys, treats and harness/leash and some dry food.
