Adoption fee will go toward vaccinations which will be given before adoption. 'Buddy' as we are calling him is already neutered. He seems to have been neglected and will need a little patience with leash walking but he is learning. He loves to give kisses. He however does not prefer to be in a home with cats and I have foster kitties so this is not ideal. The shelter is threatening to euthanize for space and I have been unsuccessful in securing a dog rescue to help. I need to find a place for him asap where he will be less stressed because of the cats and vice versa. He seems to get along great with any dog even a 9 lb dog, so any size dogs should be fine. I have not kid tested him but as friendly as he is with humans I assume he would do great with kids. He seems to be a very smart dog so he should learn easily what is expected in a caring home. Buddy is approximately 2-3 years old. He has received 1st dose of dewormer and monthly flea meds. Buddy jumped in a friend's truck at a gas station in a high traffic area and was so emaciated we did not want to leave him. I will ask for a veterinary reference and a brief home visit. Adoptable to surrounding areas within reasonable distance for serious adopter.
