We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media. �%A0 Pepper is a two-year-old, forty-five-pound, Australian cattle dog mix.�%A0 She is good with other dogs, cats, and mature kids ten and over. An incredibly sweet and gentle cattle dog dumped with a litter of puppies that are likely not hers but over which she has watched and which she has tended in a warehouse. Finder reached out to us. Clearly a house dog, Pepper is very gentle and easy, house trained and grateful; she lays her head on your lap in gratitude. She seems very tired and is very thin. She listens well, is very obedient and low key. Pepper does require a companion dog in the house so you will need to have another resident dog. This is a lovely dog whose history is likely of neglect. We would highly recommend her as a family companion. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls, no emails. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
