About Misty

Misty was a favorite of the shelter staff before quickly found a foster home. Her foster Mom says that Misty is smart, affectionate and knows some basic commands, gets along with small dogs and her cat. 'Misty is doing great. She is such a great listener and is slowly becoming friends with our cat. She loves to curl up inside her blankets with her bones and stuffies. She also loves to go on runs/walks and is so much fun and just adores whoever she picks as her person. If it were up to Misty she would just be hugging everyone all day long. She sits for treats like a champion, but usually takes her cookies and runs to hide them somewhere in her bed so she can snuggle and enjoy them later. She's just precious!' Misty loves people and forms strong bonds with those who spend time with her. She prefers only small dogs in the home and does not mind cats. She would also do best in a home without very young children. Misty is about 2 years old and 43 pounds. Please help this loving girl find her forever home. Update: Misty had tested positive for the common tick borne Lyme's/Anaplasmosis/Ehrlichia. She has already completed her course of treatment and feeling great. Misty is ready to go home with some lucky family! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
