About Lucky

Lucky was found on the street at the beginning of March by my daughter's friend. Lucky had not been well taken care of prior to being found. My daughter's friend has 6 large dogs and one of the Dobermans was picking on Lucky. We agreed to take Lucky in until he could find a permanent home. Lucky is probably one year old or so. He can't decide if he should lift his leg or squat to pee. He loves people and prefers to be with people rather than be alone. He likes to chew on his toys. Lucky is housebroken and loves his kennel. We are working on training Lucky to not jump on people. He learned to not jump on me in 2 days but will try to jump on new people. He wants to rough house with new friends and will grab pants/shoes of the person . He does not bite. I am able to take objects out of his mouth if he grabs something that isn't a chew toy. He loves to play with a ball and frisbee. Not a tug of war dog, more of a chase me and try to get it from me. He is current on shots and heartworm medication. He is very affectionate but needs training. He does not know what a leash is for. He will lay on his back between your legs and get a belly rub for as long as you are willing. He is sweet, smart, energetic and in need of someone who has the time to train him properly.
