I found this dog in Stone Mountain Park last week. Both Animal Control and the microchip company have attempted to contact the owner. If your group isn't able to help, maybe you know another group. I don't want to take him to the pound and can foster for a bit, but I can't keep him. I have my senior dog (16) going blind who is high anxiety right now and barks at everything (she angry barked at a trash bag for being near the door). Plus I inherited my uncle's 2 cats (in addition to the ones I already have). I'm at my max. He's young and needs some leash training (better in public than at home - that and jumping when he's excited plus some separation anxiety are his items that could use improvement, but he's not food aggressive at all, he loves cats (more gentle around them than dogs and 1 of my cats really likes him - the others just keep their distance but don't move when he comes near), I've taken him to PetSmart and he was fine, good in the car, friendly with other people, very good about letting you know when he needs to go outside and unlike my dog - he is quick about it, will sit on command, sometimes does lie down on command, likes frisbee, and loves to sleep in the bed - he's a snuggler. I also took him to the vet so he's up to date on shots. He was already neutered.
