About Ruth Ann

Ruth is a loving 1 year old lab/heeler mix, around 58lbs. She jumps on you very gently when you come home - but just to give you a hug. She does not lick your face nor jump on you constantly. She has stayed with cats, but I'm not sure she is good with them (we have to remind her to leave them alone). She loves to sleep on your feet or legs in the lazy boy and will follow you anywhere. She tries to talk to you with a cute bark sometimes. She is an alfa. At home, other dogs take a while to get used to, but at dog park, she is great. She loves the river and car rides with the window down (just a little). House trained and Kennel trained. Perfect pup for single dog home. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
