Cool Cole, Aussie Gold! The handsome Colestar is approximately 6 years old, average male size of 60 poundish, black tri color, bobtailed purebred Aussie boyo. This boy, this good boi doesn't need much but deserves a Happy Home. Cole's all Aussie-parentage, intelligence, zoomies and wigglebuttness. He loves his Person, romping outside and just a Good Boi! Cole is made for the REAL Australian Shepherd lover. Foster Mom says Cole's specialty is super duper 'so happy to see you' whole body waggle wiggles! Cole came to the rescue through no fault of his own. The cool canine has lots of hugs and heart to share. He prefers the company of His Person but enjoys ziging, zagging, and zooming in the backyard with his calm and playful foster fur fellows. After some run and fun time Cole is ready for downtime dozing and cozy cuddling. Cole knows his house manners. A quirk of Cole's is his 'hmmm' where felines are concerned. When he first encountered them in the foster home he was a bit of a-well, scaredypup. They are different than good ole dogs, no? He's accustomed to them now but will never be their #1 Fan. It's a live and let live relationship. Cole needed a couple weeks to decompress when he first came to Foster Mom. She gave him space and time to observe his surroundings. Cole's crate is his haven when things get a bit overwhelming. He would grumbly growl a bit at first (Listen, give me a moment), but his Foster family understood. Consistency, treats and even some upbeat 'Good Boi' wooing and cooing helped him feel more confident and secure. Cole's a typical Aussie aussome-medium energy, lot of smarts and spirit and all for his Person. The key to his cool Coleness-the boy is wriggly wiggly ha-hap-HAPPY to see the ones who have earned his heart! He has, truly, a Heart of Gold. Cole's Forever After? Cole deserves to be Someone's 'Good Boy'. He's a Cool dog. Folks looking for a friend to keep them company, a companion to hang out with in the backyard or have near while streaming, will love Cole. Cole's Person will have a patient, postive, kind, confident, self-aware disposition. They enjoy a 'my dog is my buddy' outlook -and actually want to give Cole time. When his trust is won- the reward is a loyal companion, sidekick and a lifetime satisfaction knowing you gave a good dog a good home. Cole would do best with a calm and confident canine mate to share life with and learn dog ways from. Kiddos 10 and up who respect dogs well, will appreciate Cole. A fenced in back yard is good, as especially in early days, the pooch needs a secure place to go to and be active in. HOWEVER, someone who knows dogs well, monitors them always, is fairly active, keeps their pup on leash and takes time to train their dog to new experiences and environments would be a Cole possible. Patience and confidence count. Cole should have easy access to a crate retreat, especially during decompression and transition. Multiresidential buildings (such as apartments) and dog parks are probably not a good fit for this canine. Our adopters give their new family member time to decompress, grow familiar with the new environment/routine and invest time to train. They're committed to slow monitored introductions with new people, especially children, other animals, and places. The Colester wiggle-waggled by to say: 'I'm ready to be by your side Forever! If you have the love and time, I've got the wiggles and wuv.' (He tried). Is the Colestar meant to be your Good Boi?
