About Lucy

Looking for an all-American girl? How about an all-American foxhound? Meet Lucy. She's 8 months old, around 40 pounds with some growing left to do, and is all legs and happy wiggles. Lucy is potty trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and knows several commands. She is wonderfully playful and does well with other dogs. She is also a social butterfly and loves people. The only thing Lucy loves more than a human is a human with food. Lucy is eager-to-please and will demonstrate her smarts in exchange for praise and pets. She loves to be told that she is a good girl. Being a puppy, Lucy is still learning and will need someone around to let her out every 4 hours. She is used to being kenneled while home alone and keeps her crate clean. With your continued guidance this beautiful girl will be an awesome companion. Lucy loves children but can be possessive of toys and food, so she would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children. She's come a long way in her foster home, but will need to continue to work on sharing. Lucy does pretty well on leash, but forgets her manners when she sees or smells something exciting. She loves to follow her sniffer. Because of this Lucy will require a fenced yard to keep her safely contained.
