About Veronica (Ronnie)

Veronica was rescued from Red Oak Ok as a feral or possibly extremely abused dog. She has made a lot of progress in trusting humans from the Clinic that took her in and the family that has been fostering her. She gets a long fabulously with all dogs and cats because she is so submissive and is a 'dog's dog'. She a is shy and fearful of new people but warms up to in time to people that talk kind to her and give her treats. She has a sweet and playful nature with other dogs and people once she gets to know you. Veronica needs a very special home and family that will be patient and kind and take the time to earn her trust with kind words, good food, treats, and structured routine. She is house broke to the extreme in that she wants to do her business outside. She will not go in her cage and will hold for a long time to go outside. She will need to be kept inside and on a leash for several weeks until she learns who her safe people are and where her safe home is and where her food comes from. She does not shed much at all and loads up and rides in a car once she is comfortable with her people.
