About Trixie

Despite a few challenges, Trixie is a loyal and affectionate dog who loves people and is eager to please. She is house-trained, knows basic commands, and loves to snuggle and run. Very polite with a leash, too. We want to make sure that potential adopters are aware that Trixie can be a potential threat to smaller animals, and she may threaten and bully other dogs regardless of size. In some cases, this has resulted in bites to other dogs or even accidentally biting a person who is trying to intervene. Trixie also has some minor food aggression that needs to be worked on by someone with experience in this area. Just a bit of grumbling, but something that could escalate in the wrong home. We believe that Trixie would do best in a home where she is the only animal and can receive all the love and attention she deserves. We are looking for a committed and experienced adopter who is willing to work with Trixie to help her become the best dog she can be.
