About Iris

This perfect sweetheart is named Iris. She is a Alaskan malamute who absolutely adores attention from anyone and everyone who will give it to her. She's a tad shy upon first meeting but she will warm up extremely quickly especially if you have food. That's the way to her heart. Through her stomach. This sweet angel is a talker and she will let you know how she feels about everything. And if you didn't catch it the first time she'll tell you again. ��%BD��%BD%BC Iris is crate trained and house trained but it does take her time to figure out where to go in a new place. Iris sadly doesn't play nicely with other dogs. She was never properly socialized with them. Iris is more scared of them than anything. So in her fear, if she chooses to fight, we think someday she might be able to have a friend however, with careful, socialization and controlled environments Iris does not do well with little animals, either due to a small animal prey drive, which is common for this breed. Iris does excellent with children. She does need a fenced in yard.
