Meet Clyde This handsome boy (and his sister Bonnie) were surrendered to us, thankfully. They are both wonderful little dogs. Clyde is an adorable low rider, thought to be a basset hound/beagle mix, but honestly we don't know. Maybe he has some pointer or hound but he's on the small side. He is about 11 months and only weighs 30 lbs. He has a long, lean body, handsome markings and happy eyes. Clyde is calm and quiet. He listens well and learns quickly. He is super sweet and so gentle. Clyde will try and climb into your lap if you let him. He loves pets and attention. He's soaking up every kindness shown to him. Clyde loves having soft blankets and a safe place to sleep each night. He enjoys going in the yard and running around and sunning. He loves people and other dogs, especially Bonnie, but may have to take a minute to warm up. He is also cautious around cats but does fine with them. Clyde is a happy and outgoing young pup. He will make for a wonderful, easy-going fur baby companion. His size is perfect, easy to pick up, easy to travel with, easy to walk. He jumps right up in the car for walks, and has had the opportunity to go off site with several volunteers and their dogs, and all reports are that he's a wonderful dog. He walks well on a leash and is curious about people and dogs that he meets. We have never heard him bark. Clyde is a wonderful dog who just needs a second chance.
