About Beau

Beau is an extremely playful boy with high energy. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is 1 year and 3 months old, as of 4/10/2023. A fenced in backyard is a must. My husband and I adopted Beau as a puppy, not knowing much about his breed, and he ended up being too much for the two of us. We have been his only owners since adopting him at 8 weeks old. He is up to date on vaccinations, has been neutered, and would be best fit for someone who is very active, and has lots of time to spend with him. Beau knows a few commands, including 'sit', 'down', and 'go to bed' (meaning go to his crate). Beau is so kind, he just needs more time, attention, and training than we are able to give. He loves long walks and playing fetch with the ball. Please let me know if you would like to meet him or if you are interested. We are unsure how he is with children or other pets, as we don't have children and he is our only pet. He has behaved fine towards other dogs when we have taken him to public dog parks, but he has mainly interacted a handful of times with other boy dogs. He has never shown any signs of aggression. He is very talkative and has a big personality. He will cuddle and snuggle, usually around nighttime, but I would not describe him as a lap dog. He definitely needs lots of activity and exercise.
