About Kevin

Dachshund / Greyhound
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Kevin Age: 3 years Weight: 45 pounds Sex: Male Breed: Greyhound/Dachshund mix PERSONALITY Introducing Kevin! He is guaranteed to make you laugh, keep you active and up your social game. Being on the small side of medium, and with appropriate daily exercise, Kevin can easily live in a sprawling mansion or a studio apartment. Originally from a shelter in South Texas when he first arrived in Houston he was shut off to the world, so scared of people he trembled at every touch, every noise startled him and he always suspected something horrible was around every corner. Fast forward a few months coupled with patience and a few pretty amazing canine friends Kevin is a new man. He enjoys playing with other dogs any time he has the opportunity. While on his twice a day walk, he loves making stops to meet new friends or to greet old ones. Kevin's leash manners have come a long way and is ready to go for walks, runs, hikes, etc. It all works for him, as long as there is a human by his side he's up for it! If lounging around the house after a workout, ordering in after a long day, or a movie night are favorite pastimes, Kevin is your guy. His uncanny ability to make everyone around him laugh is about as high as his cuteness factor. HEALTH & GROOMING Kevin has short fur and he needs only basic grooming. Monthly baths, bi-weekly nail trims and weekly brushing are all Kevin needs to be his most handsome. That said, he is always up for a little extra grooming TLC in the way of brushing, massage, etc.
