About Carlson

Carlson is a 2.5 year old neutered yellow Labrador retriever. Carlson is AKC registered. We would highly recommend he go to a home with no children/minimal child interaction. He is very high energy and tends to be a runner when the opportunity arises. He is a very loving dog, but does not take well to being approached by others when he gets loose, so ensuring he has room to run or the inability to get loose is essential. He currently resides with a black female Labrador retriever with no issues and plays with other large dogs well. He is crate and house trained and we let him sleep in our room, at the foot of the bed on his bed, at night with no issues. He is a mellow fella once everything is settled, but VERY excitable otherwise, and does tend to jump. We are open to calls to discuss any other questions and do hope to find the right home where he can get the attention and space to run he deserves. We do not take this decision lightly and are looking for a good fit for him as well.
