About Kongo

Kongo is a sweet 4 yr old, 75 pound, Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mixed girl, we pulled from a small shelter who had a broken pelvis by being hit by a car. She was on strict crate rest for 30 days then we took her to Dr. Maness for her check yesterday too. Her exam included Xrays so we could see if she has healed. Unfortunately she still has 3 breaks, they are still healing. She is on another 60 days of low activity/kennel rest, pain medication and supplements. She is ALSO HW- & Tickborne illness NEGATIVE!!! We truly believe she will be done healing in 60 days. This girl is also nearly perfect! She is fantastic with all dogs, cats and children and really desires so much to play but we must be really careful with this due to her injuries. Kongo is ready for a Foster or FTA home now! She truly would do better in a home rather than our facility!
