About LEAH

Leah was found wandering on a busy four-lane road in Oxford, AL. She had no collar and was not chipped. I believe she was wandering for about a week when I found her. She had hookworms and is completing a course of medication for that. She will be spayed and vaccinated on 4/17/23. Ht.: 24' at shoulders Wt.: 38.4 lbs. Mix: Chocolate lab, pointer, and a tiny bit of pit. Age: 1 yr. old Appears to be housebroken per foster. Leah is a very special dog. She loves people and smaller dogs. She has a sweet temperament, wants to please her human companion, and needs security and affection in return. Requirements for Adoption: - Semi retired, hybrid-work from home, or family with PT earner. Why? Leah wants to bond with her forever family. - Fenced in yard for 'zoomie runs!' - Neighborhood walks /walks in community parks - AFFECTION and praise - Adoption fee: $50.00 to Rescue Me, $100.00 to me (vet and misc. bills are at $365.00). - (2) references and name of vet clinic - Transportation TBD
