About Rusty

Meet Rusty! He is a 4 year old stub tail red heeler. He is the sweetest dog, with lots of love to give. He has been wonderful with our toddler since we've had him but unfortunately since we've moved into a smaller home we can no longer accommodate or keep up with his needs. He is high energy and loves to play, he's extremely smart and can learn almost any command in a day. Before we got him, we were told he broke his leg or was born with his leg a little off. He has a slight limp when he plays super hard, but it does not bother him day to day and he has seen a vet about it with no concerns. I'm asking a $100 rehoming fee ONLY to ensure he goes to a good home. I would prefer to rehome him to a family or someone with enough land for him to run, if it was fenced that would be ideal as he does live to visit neighbors. I would prefer to rehome him to someone familiar with this breed or at least familiar with cattle dogs in general so that I can be confident he's going to his forever home. It's a difficult decision to rehome him, he's been with us for three years and has been through a lot with us, but he deserves more than we can give him. Please contact me via email or text!
