Bandit is a 2 year old ACD who came from a rough situation. I have been fostering him for about 1 month. He is easy to get along with and very willing to please. He walks well on a leash, is able to happily interact at dog parks, and is very quiet in his kennel. He is still somewhat reactive/sensitive to the handler. He is very smart and picks up on things quickly but he is quick to cower if you move to fast or get loud. He prefers women but with a little effort has been fine around everyone that interacts with him. He is fine with children and every other dog he has met. He could potentially be okay around cats but he has the urge to chase anything that runs. He has been around livestock and naturally has herding tendancies. He would need more training to be successful but he would potentially be a great herding dog. In the time I've had him, I trained him sit, down, started roll over, taught him to walk on a leash, solve food puzzles, and to go around things when the leash gets tangled. I have a border collie that he gets along with really well. They enjoy running together frequently. He likes toys but prefers food, sweet foods are his favorite but he will eat just about anything.
