About Odin

Meet Odin, an adorable Great Dane mix with possibly black Mouthed Cur in his blood. He weighs 73 pounds. His foster mom says she cannot say enough about how much she loves him. He is a very sweet and social dog. Odin was surrendered to the animal shelter, through no fault of his own, because his owner became sick and was unable to care for him. Odin is trustworthy in the house alone, potty trained , loves friendly dogs of all sizes, and loves kids and adults, but sometimes does not know his own size. He can be a little shy meeting new people, but a treat turns him quickly into a friend. He is very treat motivated which is great for training. Odin loves to play and run in the morning and in the evenings. He is happy being a couch potato during the day. He likes to be cuddled up close to his people. Odin is a smart fellow; he knows sit, stay, down, and a few other commands. He is not a jumper and only barks when he is very excited. He walks well on a leash and loves to go for car rides. �'�� Odin has a prey drive so no cats or free roaming farm animals. He will chase! His current foster has chickens behind a fence and he does okay with that. Odin is a fabulous companion. He is a sweet and sensitive soul who wants to please. Odin would do well in a home with another canine buddy his size. We are asking for a home with a big yard for him to play in and an owner that can devote a lot of time to him. Odin is Neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee is $275.00
