About Moose

MOOSE is a 1 year old, 9.4 pound Terrier mix LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Love and attention, fenced yard and a play buddy. HIGHLIGHTS: Sweet, playful, snuggly, housebroken! MOOSE is adorable with a personality to match! He is a very sweet pup who was surrendered to us recently with a bunch of other dogs. Moose is loving and cuddly with his people. He loves to be in a lap, snuggling and getting lots of love and attention. He is always happy to see people and greets everyone with a wagging tail. Moose has been with other dogs his whole life and would love to have a play buddy. We definitely think he would be happier in a home with another little dog that would interact with him. Not only does he love to play, but he loves to cuddle with other dogs too! We don't know how he would be with cats, and he should be fine with kids. Moose is still a puppy, with puppy energy and an adorable personality. He loves to run and play, loves toys, enjoys a great game of fetch and naps after playtime. He is not leash trained and would be best with a fenced yard so he could run and play to his heart's content. Moose is good in the house and seems to be housebroken. His foster mom has not seen him have any accidents in the house. Moose likes to sit in your lap and look out the window during car rides. At night he will curl up in a dog bed but would likely love to sleep in the big bed with his person if given the opportunity. Moose has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. His neuter is scheduled at one of our vets soon and is covered by the rescue. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted. *To meet a dog or be considered for adoption you must first submit an adoption application for review. This does not obligate you to adopt a dog. *We review multiple applications for each dog and pick the best fit. We are not always able to respond to every application.
