VET INFORMATION: Bear is severely emaciated. He is not neutered or microchipped. He will require a dental exam and cleaning with possible extraction of teeth. Bear is blind but is being treated for dry eye. His rescue is working with his veterinarian to see if they can resolve this condition and restore his sight. Bear recently had blood work done, and it came back good, we are told by his rescue. RESCUE INFORMATION: Bear is with Huckaby's Hope For Paws Rescue. They brought him into rescue on 3/19/23 in Alabama and shortly thereafter moved him to a foster home in Tennessee where he will receive the TLC he needs to start the journey back to being a healthy dog. Despite his physical condition, Bear is a friendly boy who wants to be loved. He's been a docile and gentle dog. Does anyone have room for sweet Bear?
