Fenced-in yard is required. BIOGRAPHY Hi friends�'�| my name is Eloise and boy do I have a story for you! So, first things first, I was raising my most recent litter of babies in a puppy mill in Ohio and then my kids grew up and moved out or whatever. So I was finally taking some 'me time' to relax before the next round of kiddos and next thing I know I'm NAKED and on my way to New York?! I'm an American Eskimo and they sent me to the snowiest city in the U.S. without my coat?! I thought that was kinda rude and I was so cold and scared. When my foster family came to pick me up I wouldn't even look them in the eyes or move at all. I had never been shown affection from humans before or ran around outside, so things were super confusing. As it turns out, I REALLY like humans!!! I didn't have much exposure to humans at the puppy mill and now I'm a house dog. These past few weeks have been nuts. I have learned to actively seek affection, accept pets, wear sweaters to keep me warm, sleep in the big bed, and I even get snackos when I pee and poop outside�'�| not quite sure why that is yet. I did notice I never get snackos when I potty inside, but maybe that's just a coincidence??? Anyways, ever since I've gotten to know the humans I am a TOTAL Velcro dog. I want to be next to the humans all the time! I get soooo sad when they go into another room without me or leave the house. I howl and cry a lot, but they promised me that they will ALWAYS come back and I am starting to believe them. I still get really sad when they go. They watched me on the cameras and found out that I am a total klutz and I run around and bump into everything looking for them when they're not home. I've gotten some bumps and bruises from this and they told me that I'm not supposed to act like a pinball machine! I don't even know what that means?! I have gotten sooo many more luxuries here than just affection! I learned how to empty the toy bin to find my new favorite toys and do zoomies around the backyard with the other dogs! I really like other dogs but I don't really know how to play with them aside from running. I also like to make sure my human is there with me. I'm scared to go outside all alone. Sometimes, when my family is busy, I just lay inside and catch some sun beams. It feels soooo good on my body while I'm waiting for my coat to grow back in. I'm still pretty confused about why I'm totally naked, but they said I was 'matted' and that this was for the best. So, long live my new wardrobe! I do still run away and cower when new people approach me, but if you just sit on the floor or the couch, I will GLADLY come right to you! I am good with the other dogs and even cats. I take their warning cues well and never overstep their boundaries. I have never been around kids, but I think I'd just run and hide. I would never bite anyone even if they spooked me.
