About Jerry

Loveable Azores Cattle Dog mix - tri-pawd! From Jerry's Foster Family- Jerry is a loveable snuggle bug! He LOVES to be right next to you at all times. He gets along with other animals (an Aussie and two cats), but he definitely wants to get all the attention. We feel he would thrive as the only animal, or at least the only dog in the house. Jerry is comfortable in his crate at night and while we are gone. If we are outside with him in the yard, he remains off leash, but he does like to herd so we put him on a run if we're going to be in and out. Toys are his love language and playing tug of war. During car rides, which he is eager to go on, it is imperative to monitor the windows. His fearlessness and joy of riding in the car is how he broke his leg and received an amputation. The loss of his back leg did not slow him down at all; he runs and plays like he did before! We have stairs in the house, but he manages just fine. He is very healthy and up to date on all vaccines. Our family loves Jerry so much and wants him to find the perfect forever home! Our Aussie just can't handle the competition. **breeds listed are the best guess of the shelter staff
