Gizmo 'Griz' is a 9-year-old, 83-pound male black lab. He is the most well-mannered, loving gentleman his foster parents have ever had the pleasure of loving. Griz absolutely lives for a good game of fetch, and he will tell you when he is ready to take a break. Pro tip: he doesn't like to take many breaks. Griz loves life. He wasn't dealt a fair hand by the humans entrusted to provide for him, but Griz doesn't hold a grudge toward humans. Griz embodies why humans love dogs - their unconditional, unwavering love. Griz appreciates a nice petting session, but he doesn't demand one. Griz accepts and enjoys snuggles and cuddles, but he doesn't demand them. Griz is a dog that is always happy to cherish the love he gets and be grateful for whatever amount that may come in. He is an amazing boy! Griz tends to ignore other dogs and cats, but he plays fetch with a group of dogs exceptionally well. Let's reiterate that Griz loves to fetch. Griz is learning to love indoor life, and he is navigating his huge life changes very well! Griz is an adaptable experienced gentleman that goes with the flow of the river of life. Griz has excelled in his crate training. His foster home is convinced Griz was crate trained he has done so well, but they know he wasn't. Griz is just that laid-back. Griz is furthering his outdoor potty habits daily. He was never given the guidance that dogs don't use the bathroom inside, but now that he is being shown, it is making total sense to him!
